Do you have freelook on a toggle? Do you look around when you _only_ move your mouse (not clicking any of the mouse buttons)?
I just press "Numpad 5" or "Spacebar" to reset the view. I have the same thing as you, but it never bothered me much.
Try something like this:
- Alt + Tab out of the game and back in
- Alt + Enter to put the game in windows mode, Alt + Enter again to make it full screen
- Win-key + Tab to change to another open application, Win-key + Tab to go back to MSFS
- Unplug the second monitor if you have one
- Make sure that all accessibility features are turned off, like sticky keys, if of course you don't need those
- Win-key + Ctr l+ Shift + B to reset the graphics driver
It seems like the game lost focus and your mouse pointer is used by another application.
Nicely parked at the end
I am throwing money at my screen. I want this so bad.
Imagine some stupid kid flying with the Junkers full of swastika's over controversial places and making screenshots. Yes, history should not be forgotten, but do not provoke people suffering from the memories of it.
If you have the Windows Store version of MSFS, delete and reinstall the Xbox App.
Hi and welcome to the forum and the sim,
Did you unzip the files? It seems like there are files missing. The sim sees the directories but it's missing the manifest.json file I guess. Is this the Steam version of MSFS?
It's probably because you use Firefox and have tracking/cookie protection on. Cross-site cookies are needed in order to download.
I for one welcome payware together with freeware. Payware gives the hard working people some financial credit, but also keep them sharp on quality. I spent a kidney and half on OrbX already, and I'm willing to spent more here if I find something that I like. Edit: and I have to admit, I loathe those buymecoffee things because of the commission and hassle.
Welcome aboard and my compliments to your livery, it looks excellent!
Check the in-game content manager if everything is installed, updated and activated. (main menu > profile > content manager)
Set the renderscale to exactly 100. Everything lower removes objects and everything above makes objects float.
The map is from OrbX's content manager app OrbX Central. It has a interactive map (the same one as used in Volanta) to browse all the content OrbX offers. There is a list of all POI's, but it's a bit tedious to screenshot all the POI's. If you want me to zoom in on the map, say the word.
Welcome to Great Britain Central, our first landmark region pack for Microsoft Flight Simulator, designed especially for "low-and-slow" pilots who love to explore and discover new regions, and for those who want to enhance their VFR flights in the area.
Stretching from Liverpool and North Wales up to Newcastle, this region pack captures hundreds of unique landmarks and attractions ready to be explored, from the busy cities such as Newcastle, Manchester and Liverpool, to coastal tourist towns such as Blackpool, Scarborough and Whitby, all have been designed to greatly enhance any flight in the region.
During exploration, you can expect to find hundreds of uniquely modelled POIs, including:
- Uniquely modelled lighthouses and piers
- Famous castles, manor houses and ruins
- Churches and Cathedrals
- Masts, Radomes and military base installations
- VFR reference points
In addition, the following cities/towns have received an upgraded cityscape adding many unique buildings and giving each city a unique look and feel:
- Media City, Salford
We have also added many unique buildings to many of the smaller towns in the area, as well as hand placed boats, storage tanks and many other points of interest.
SteamVR works independent of where you bought the sim from. I bought the game via Windows Store and when I press Ctrl + Tab in the sim, it opens SteamVR for me. I'm using a Valve Index, but as far as I know SteamVR isn't proprietary.
A quick Google:
