Drone Rotating - Long Flight

    Hi all,


    I'm curious to know if anyone has an explanation for why the drone rotates over long flights. The drone is not in "drone lock mode," as I prefer the visual imagery of the plane changing direction in the image, but I still don't know why the drone rotates.


    My best guess is that it has something to do with the plane travelling over a sphere, and the camera's original angle stays stationary. I've also noticed that if the plane is stationary, the drone does not rotate.


    FYI, I'm looking to record cinematic long-haul flights to upload to youTube as a form of slow TV.

    ~30 Minutes Into Flight

    Heads up, I ran some more tests and have concluded that it has something to do with the plane travelling over a sphere while the camera stays in the same position.


    At least this is what I think is happening. Any thoughts or solutions?
