I have been downloading some files lately on different websites... but normal sites hardly take any time where flightsim.to is taking a lot of time. max 100kbps id say whats with the site?

A LOT of traffic, very low revenues, so a download bottleneck. Look at the download stats, and ask yourself how a free site such as this can afford to provide the level of bandwidth that they are still able to do.
The good news is that they are looking to change this by introducing a Premium Membership with benefits that will help offset the costs of keeping the site running for everyone.
