Push and Pull on Heading and Alt. Bugs

Hi all,

I can turn the knobs on the speed, heading and alt bugs...but how do I "Push and PULL" them ???? Driving me MAD !!!!

On the "default" A320 if you hover the mouse over the knob in just the right spot an arrow appears indicating push on or pull off. Arrow down is on, arrow up is off.
